Uncovering the gaps in India’s government-job search journey
2022 · Delhi, Bihar · Search Experience · Design Research
I worked with Google Search and Next Billion Users' teams to research how government job aspirants in India search, prepare, and apply, in a space where "government jobs" is a top search term but unverified listings and unreliable sites work against the people using it and cause mistrust.
The scope of this project covered website audits, fieldwork and ethnography, covering students, local education centres, libraries, govt. CSCs, among others to identify trust gaps and usability barriers, informing UX and product design direction for the team at Google.
The output was a synthesis and design direction for the team at Google.
Shared under NDA, the content is limited to process and key steps.
