Design research
The use of sanitary pads and diapers are increasing by the day, but what happens to them after they are used and wrapped back in a piece of paper or the plastic wrap that they came in, and are mixed with other ordinary household waste.
How might we dispose them in a more comfortable manner, and more hygienically.
Besides the stigma and biases we had uncovered via interviews with women and local officials, a challenge also arose in the government's scalability of logistics for services of civilian sanitary waste.

As we narrowed down, more than problems with private handling, the stigma and inhibitions around handling and disposal in public spaces was growing to be a larger challenge, and this is what we worked towards addressing.
